A GIFT IN THE MAIL..LAST GUESS AND THE END IS NEAR

I signed up for an envelope swap last month and my partner was Lori from Frogs Lilypad and it was like Christmas yesterday when the mail lady pulled in our driveway. How did she know me so well ..There were so many gifts and some were wrapped and this is how it looked before I unwrapped them
I couldn't believe what all was in this huge envelope and then she put the envelope inside a box.
There was a pretty little pillow tuck with a flower stitched on (and I do have a perfect spot to hang it)...some pretty little note cards..some of the tiny prim candles (and I was wanting some of these to hang on my 1 prim candle holder)...2 pretty fat quarters that will come in handy when I make up new items for craft show this fall..a wooden spoon that has been primed with pip berries and I have a perfect spot in my kitchen for that...One of my favorite things was the dish towel with the chicken appliqued on it (what an awesome job on that)..How did she know I have Chickens and Roosters in my kitchen???....Some yummy smelling prim candles and also a prim metal candle holder ...A fancy jeweled emery board (Will have to hide that on Nellie) And I told Billy she even sent a gift for him...2 crocheted dish clothes (He usually does the dishes and he liked the 1 a friend made for him) and last but not least A Pioneer Bonnet that she said was like the one her Grandmother wore.
The Pioneer Bonnet is made from a soft yellow calico and she said she was leaving it up to me if I wanted to prim it. I will have to decide which room it will be displayed in before I decide if I want it primed.
Thank you Lori from the bottom of my Heart...You made my Day.
This will be the last guessing question for the recipes and I will announce the winner on April 2nd. This guess is for the bread. It is Beer Bread and I made it last night to eat with our spaghetti. was this recipe from...
Bill Clinton
Ted Stevens
or Paul Anka
Then for dessert I made this moist Chocolate cake and as you can see it is one of my favorite cakes...is it from
Lady Bird Johnson
Laura Bush
or John Glen
Just put your guess in a comment and the name of the food you are guessing.
I just put a new post in my selling blog with lots of pictures and information about the cook book. The 6 people that have already mailed their payment will have their cook book (s) on the way on Monday. Would make a nice Mothers Day gift or Birthday gift. I am having so much fun trying out the different recipes. I Love a lot of them but I think the cutest one is the one from the author "Dean Koontz" He actually wrote what I call a Love story about his recipe :)
