17 more days-Biancas Birthday- and I hate bugs

We only have 17 days to go until we pick up the U Haul and all of us are anxious to go back to the midwest. The temp way up north was 64 today and in central IL where we are moving it was 75 and down here in S AL it was in the 90's and that isn't counting the heat factor and humidity.

We have our moving sale almost all set up and Billy put the signs out today and we had a few people stop and sold $20.00..Hopefully it will be better tomorrow and maybe 2 of the big items will sell..the shed and the riding mower

Last night I was laying on the bed on my side and watching T V in the guest bedroom. Billy was sitting at the end of the bed petting a dog when something flew past my face and almost hit my mouth and then landed on my hip..It was actually making a noise and I heard it land..Of course I yelled for Billy to get whatever it was that landed on my hip off of me..He grabbed it and it was a WOOD ROACH and was huge..Of course he killed it.
Just this month I picked a tick off my arm laying on the bed and he killed a spider that when it's legs were spread out would cover the top of a big can of pork and beans. None of us will miss any of the bugs or frogs that are in this house.
It is 670 miles to our new house and I bet it will take us at least 16 hours to get there. Billy has a bad hip and I have pain in my neck and right arm but I am sure we will reach our destination with our 4 dogs and 3 cats and then Billy and I will unload the truck and then take a very long nap.

Today is Bianca's 7th Birthday and she will be so happy when she can go back where it is cooler. American Eskimos do not like heat..especially if they spent the first 6 years in the North.

Bianca didn't get to have Ice Cream like the pups did on their B D but will try and celebrate over the week end

Here is Bianca and Annie in the yard up North with just a little snow and when it got really deep they would dig a hole in the snow and lay in it. You could look out in the yard and see 6 black dots...2 noses and 4 eyeballs

Here is Bianca looking out the window and wanting to go out and run ...that is her favorite place to be is outside when it isn't real hot

Hi Nancy, your blog is fun to read and life is an adventure all right. I am in Idaho and having a good time. Pulling a trailer is more fun than a moving van. I wonder how you got the pictures to show up on your blog listing. I see mine with the RV sign. By the way 650 miles of driving and I could still be in 'California (north to south)
