UPDATE ON "MIA" AND OTHER NEWS

Mia is doing some better and is still getting a shot every night. She will still need to have all her teeth pulled and also will have an ultra sound for the lomp inside her. It will be on going for a while and she does not like getting a shot but maybe she knows that because Mom sticks her it does make her feel well enough to go back to her favorite spot on the back of the couch to look out the window and see the birds.
She is now on a special wet food with special nutrients to help her also. Nellie has a few things listed on ebay to help with the vet bills and also does dog walking ...babysitting and any other odd jobs she can find when she isn't working. She is also still accepting donations and every dollar helps. If you would like to donate you can go to Mias picture on the right side bar. This is Mia after a few days of shots..getting better but not up to par.
The other news is that I have either been on the phone or computer looking for our new home. I have 2 realtors looking and have found a few houses that MIGHT work. So...the rest of the day I just wait for the phone to ring or watch for emails with some good news. This will be the first time we have ever moved and pulled into a driveway for the first time with a U Haul truck with our belongings...4 Dogs and 3 Cats (they are family too) and not seen it until moving in day
Hopefully we will get some good news soon and be able to sleep better.
We will be loading a U Haul and pulling out in exactly 5 1/2 weeks and will be happy to have it over with.
I have some listings on ebay now also to help with moving expenses and of course some will go to help Mia so please take a look when you can. I will try and list new items every day from now through Sept 7th.
I love to read comments so please leave a comment of encouragement for us with the big move and for Mia :)

Hi Nancy:
Thanks a million for the update on Mia. You can see she's still sick in her photograph. Poor baby. Hope she's better soon. It's so hard when our pets are not well. They can't tell us where it hurts, and they're just not themselves. I'll say a prayer for Mia, and you and your hubby as you hunt for a new home.
xoxo

Hi Nancy,
Just got a chance to read your posts. I know how it is to have a really sick kitty cat. My cat, Salem, got so sick last year, that I told the vet to go ahead and put him down, because after 4 days in the clinic, he looked so bad. The vet told me to let her try one more thing before putting him down. I left the clinic that day in sobs and tears, convinced I would never see my Salem again. That afternoon, what the vet had tried, proved successful and now after a year, I have this gigantic, shiny lovable cat sleeping by my side as I write this. I hope your kitty soon gets better and I hope you find a home that God is leading you to. You are in my prayers. Blessings,Kathleen
