HAND MADE APRON'S UPDATE

Click Here to View These Aprons in My Shop!

Here is what I have been working on all week...I love the Apron Group I joined...lots of neat Aprons and ideas. I will be posting these in my web site so check them out if you want to take another peek.

The first one is kind of different and has Ant's all over it and is a larger size.

The Blue Jeans one is made from and old pair of Blue Jeans and the waist band was left on and can be buttoned in the back. I have also put some of my Grandmothers lace on it and I think I will keep this one and hang it in my Pioneer room.

The one with the green pockets is made from fabric that has little seed packets print. The Sunflower is pinned on to the pocket so it can be removed for washing it.

The Blue one has silverware all over it...kind of different

The next one has 2 coordinating prints and is what I would call Pastels. It has a lot of matching Bows that are pinned on and can also be removed for washing.
The last one is a quick and simple one that is made from a Pillow case. I will be making more from Pillow cases but they will be a little more interesting.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think...and if you have any ideas for other Aprons.
Back out to the yard tomorrow....supposed to be a nice sunny day again. I have my Humming bird Garden area all ready for some seeds and plants. I sure hope it draws them to my yard...and hoping for a lot of other Birds calling it home here.

Thanks Cora...That is my favorite print and it took some twisting of my own arm to part with it. I think it was good material to make an apron from :)
I am going to work on an apron for gardenrs next...I need one myself and the one I have that is a boughten one only holds 3 tools...I need more room than that.
I hope some of them sell...what am I going to do with a gazillion aprons in my house LOL

Just finished a few more...I have some of them for sale in my web site but am keeping 2 of them..the blue jeans one will go in my Pioneer room since it has my GM lace....and the one with the ruffle is going for a swap.
I was really pleased with the other ones and it amazes me what can be made into an apron.

I adore your aprons Nancy! You are so busy as a bee making them. I need to get on the ball myself. I am getting more behind every day.

I adore the pillow case and I think I have the purple fabric or somthing like it. You gave me the idea, thanks!
