I always thought you had to die in order to go to Heaven..but I know now that there is a Heaven on Earth and a man named Fred will be meeting us at the gates. This house is just perfect in every way for our likes and needs
I can already picture myself cooking meals and canning in this awesome kitchen. We have a stove and it is gas so will have to hook it up so we can use our gas stove. I can not cook or can with electric. We will need to buy a refridgerator and there is no dryer but that can be dealt with later..clothes can be dried in the basement on a clothes line. We do have one of those dorm refridgerators and that will hold a gallon of milk and dozen eggs until we find a fridge.
This picture iwas taken from standing in the living room looking into the dining room. I know my China Cabinet and buffet and table will fit in here just fine
This was taken from in the dining room looking into living room and you can see where the porch is when you look out the door
Nice 2 1/2 car garage and of course is right up Billys alley...Guys need their garage
This is the full bath and looks awesome with the tile and the little shelves at the far end of the tub...I can also see a grab bar making it easier for me to get out of tub with my messed up back.
This is the 1/2 bath that is right off the 16X16 ft Master Bedroom
This is Mia getting her daily shot that she will need for the rest of her life. It is lactated ringers and it is basically fluids to keep her kidneys working.
She goes back for tests to see how she is doing at the end of Sept and then if it looks real good she will have her teeth pulled.
The drip bag lasts 2 weeks and costs $25.00 aevery 2 weeks so Nellie is trying to list items on ebay and does any odd jobs she can find.
I will be posting more about Mia and our move as I have more news.
Thank you all for visiting my blog and hoping you will take the time to leave a comment..It always makes me smile when I get comments :)

Awesome house, Nancy....love the kitchen..you will have alot more cupboards that I have..our kitchen is rather small and cramped...hard with canning equipment...sometimes I think I'd like to move to the Midwest....but love our weather...
glad for the update on Mia too...
The house looks lovely Nancy and I wish you a safe and trouble free move back home:) I hope miss Mia does well, I can SO remember from working at the animal hospital the amount of lactated Ringers we went through!
Oh, my! That is a very nice house and I do love that kitchen. I am so happy for you. Sorry you do not have help to get moved though and I hope you do not cause yourself more pain with all that packing, loading and unloading. Still praying Mia gets all better. I am glad there is a way to keep her kidneys working. Looking forward to your next update. Hugs
It looks like a nice house and hope it works out for you and Billy. New decorating for you when you arrive. Hope your neck feels better soon.
Judy
yes I love your new home..I can't wait to see it all decorated for the holidays and see what you whip up in that kitchen...;) glad to hear that little Mia is doing better..Keep us posted..and take care.:)
This is wonderful news on your final house hunt! I am so thankful for you that this is one more worry that can be put behind you.
Bad that you and Billy have to load it up, but I know you have been packing small boxes so that helped a lot. I know I lift more than I am supposed to but we have to get by somehow. Maybe some help will appear for you there also?
The time has really gone by fast it seems! I know how happy you will be, I love to see both of the sun porch rooms you will have, very light and bright to do crafting in the natural sunlight. I sure do envy you there.
Yes, please keep us updated with photos and unpacking in the great BIG kitchen. It is huge for me too, but I don't cook like you do. Take travel photos too if you can on the way north and be sure to keep some warm clothes close by and easy to get to. I know we rarely think of them down in this heat. You may have ice on the pumpkin and firelight by Halloween. I again envy that!
So sorry about Mia's troubles, she is in my prayers for better health soon.
Smiles, Cyndi
I was smart enough to keep my winter clothes when moving down here. Going back to IL is going home for us...just not as cold in central IL like Northern part and not near as hot as AL. It will only be end of Sept when we get there so won't be all that cold yet..I can always add clothes to keep warm up there.. but in the south even if you take all your clothes off you still can't cool off unless you stay in and crank the AC (almost $300.00 a month here with ac on 80)
I will keep you all informed but can only take pics when we stop since I will be driving the car all the way :)
Very glad to hear your good news! Blessings on your new abode and continued prayers for Mia!
