GIVE AWAY

A friend of mine made this cute little Primitive candle mat with hand stitching on the top and blue homespun on the bottom. Also has thin batting for padding. She told me to offer it in my blog for a give away. I think it was a very sweet thing to do since she had to evacuate from the hurricane and it was hard for her to get this picture. It looks much better than it shows in the picture. If you would like to sign up to be in the drawing please leave a comment requesting your intrest. Sign up's for this give away will end on Sept 20th and winner will be announced on 21st
Thank you

I am so sorry for your friend. This weather has been terrible on everyone this year. We certainly empathize here in southeast Iowa. But we persevere as your friend has shown her strength here. I would be proud to display this item made by such a courageous, strong woman.

Thank you Dani and Linda...Lynn is going to stay at her SIL in S Houston tomorrow. Maybe her home will be O K to go back to soon. I am sure her DD will have her baby while they are in Houston...they are safe and taking it in stride....she is an amazing lady :)

Thank you for visiting my site. I appreciate all the nice things you said. I would love to be in your drawing--sign me up!

I think your family sounds amazing! I too raised a bunch of kids, but didn't birth them--they came in all sizes and shapes.

Grandson Elliot is the first of the grandies that is having a birthday since I've been blogging. I'm thinking I'm going to have to get a lot of pics together for the next birthday, one month from today.

I plan to explore your blog when I have more time--I'm plain weary tonight....I know I will love it!

Thanks again for stopping by.
